duncankatlynThanks for responding, Jodie! There’s a lot of nuance with it and I don’t want to do it “wrong”. I just had a brainstorming session with a writer friend and I’m thinking since all of my thrillers will be standalone, that I should write a convertible cookie that’s also standalone, featuring a lot of the tropes that I like to write about: i.e. small town secrets, female driven narratives, siblings/family issues. Then those who like that story could branch off to the rest of my future thriller catalog, and not necessarily a certain book in particular? But that puts me in a place to come up with a new story this week LOL. I can’t seem to ever give myself a break ha!
